How long is the Derwent Valley walk?

The Derwent Valley Walk, officially known as the Derwent Valley Heritage Way, is approximately 55 miles (88 kilometers) long. It runs from Ladybower Reservoir in the Peak District National Park to Shardlow, following the River Derwent through Derbyshire.

The route takes walkers through a variety of landscapes, including:

The walk is typically completed over several days, but shorter sections and circular walks are available for those looking for a less demanding experience.
