The Great British Beer Festival (GBBF) is traditionally recognized as the UK’s largest beer festival. Organized by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), it showcases a vast selection of cask ales, ciders, perries, and international beers. Historically held in London, the GBBF is relocating to Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in 2025. The event is scheduled from Tuesday, 5th August 2025, to Saturday, 9th August 2025.
In addition to the GBBF, several other notable beer festivals contribute to the UK’s vibrant beer culture:
Cambridge Beer Festival: Established in 1974, it’s the longest-running CAMRA beer festival in the UK, traditionally held in late May.
BREW//LDN: Touted as the UK’s largest and most diverse craft drinks festival, it returns in 2025 with a mission to offer quality beverages, premium street food, and great music.
These festivals, among others, highlight the UK’s rich and diverse beer culture, offering enthusiasts a chance to explore a wide array of brews and brewing traditions.
